Crank Shaft Service
Crankshaft is cleaned, degreased, magnafluxed, to check for cracks. The one in the image below did not pass magnaflux. You can see the crack, a diagonal line across the middle of the crank journal. Crank journals are measured, checked for straightness (Yes, cranks can bend!), then turned or polished as needed. Serviced cranks come with rod and main bearings.
